Eileen E. LaPlante, 70, of White Lake Road, formerly of the Town of New Baltimore, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at St. Elizabethï¿(TM)s Medical Center, Utica, surrounded by her loved ones. Eileen was born July 11, 1937 in the Town of New Baltimore, a daughter of Hiram and Rose Hluboky Robinson. She grew up in Grapeville on the family farm and attended a one room schoolhouse in the Grapeville area. After graduating from Greenville High School with the Class of 1955 she was employed at the New York State Office Building, Albany, as a Secretary. On March 23, 1957 she was united in marriage with Everette E. "Bud" LaPlante at St. John the Baptist Church, Greenville. Through the years Eileen had been employed in various secretarial and aide positions. In 2002 she moved to Forestport from the Town of New Baltimore, and was employed at Sunset Nursing Home, Boonville, and lastly at Eckerd Pharmacy, Barneveld. She was a member of St. Patrickï¿(TM)s Church, Forestport. "Faith and Family" was her motto, her life was centered around her children and grandchildren, and she always gave the best of herself and her love to everyone. Others always came first with Eileen. She loved the time that she worked and volunteered at Sunset. Eileen enjoyed praying the Rosary, taking in Godï¿(TM)s beauty from her front porch, reading, camping, gardening, flowers, and most of all walks and endless conversations with her family. Eileen is survived by her former husband and life long love, Everette "Bud" LaPlante of Wildwood, FL; three sons: Mark and wife Chris LaPlante of Remsen, Vic and wife Alice LaPlante of Perry, ME, and Ken and wife Jacqui LaPlante of Remsen; one daughter: Dawn and husband Jamie Ray of Raleigh, NC; seventeen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law: Joyce Trudell and Kirk Hardenburg of Gloversville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Eileen at 10 am Saturday at St. Patrickï¿(TM)s Church, Forestport. Interment will follow in St. Patrickï¿(TM)s Cemetery, Forestport. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday at the Trainor Funeral Home, 143 Schuyler St., Boonville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrickï¿(TM)s Church, P.O.
