Point Rock- Doris Ada Hunt, 98, of Largo, Florida, a former resident of Point Rock and widow of Calvin C, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014, at Largo Health and Rehabilitation Center, Largo, Florida. She was born on April 4, 1916, to Arthur and Grace Rogers Nelson. Doris was predeceased by her first husband, Francis Delaney; later she married Calvin C. Hunt. For several years she and Mr. Hunt lived in Point Rock, and Mrs. Hunt was employed as a school bus driver for the Adirondack Central School District, Boonville. Later she and Calvin relocated to Florida, where Mr. Hunt died on January 13, 1983. Doris had attended the Point Rock United Methodist Church. She has left behind her loved ones, including three sons, Gerald and Gloria Delaney, Robert and Cathy Delaney and Roger and Jo Hunt, in addition to many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Richard A. Delaney, and by two sisters, Thelma Henderson and Virginia Ottaway. Services and interment were held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Ava Cemetery.
