Donald Augustus Post Boonville- Donald Augustus Post, 27, of Erwin St. a former resident of Lyons Falls, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2005, of injuries he received in an automobile accident on Rt. 12D in the Town of Leyden. Donald was born in Lowville on June 2, 1978, a son of Vaughn A. and Teresa Bourgeois Post. He grew up in Lyons Falls, and graduated from South Lewis High School with the Class of 1996. From the age of 14, until after he graduated from high school, Don was employed for North Country Builders of Lyons Falls, after that he was employed for Pipe Tech, Inc. of Port Leyden. At the present time he was employed as a carpenter for Creek Side Builders of Boonville. Of the Catholic Faith, he had attended St. Martinï¿(TM)s Church, Port Leyden. Donald greatly enjoyed the sport of Baseball and he played on farm teams through Babe Ruth teams, and he will be rememberd as being an excellent catcher through out his baseball playing. While in high school he played Football, Basket Ball, and participated on the high school Track team. He especially enjoyed his work as a carpenter, and while at home he greatly enjoyed wood working projects, and working with his hands. Donald is survived by his girl friend and her daughter; Paige Dean and Lanie Dean, Boonville, his father, Vaughn A. Post, Lyons Falls, his mother and step father Teresa Bourgeois, and Lewis Poore, Port Leyden, three brothers, Colby R. Post, and his girl friend, Jessica, and their sons; Harley Post, and Brice Eastman, Lyons Falls, Joshua J. Post, Lyons Falls, and Cory L. Poore, age 9 of Port Leyden, three sisters; Jennifer Carpenter, Rebecca Cavanaugh, both of Constableville, Bethany Poore, Port Leyden, his maternal grandparents; Augustus and Charlotte Bourgeois, and his maternal great grandmother, Mildred White, all of Boonville and by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Donald and Wilma Post. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 11 A.M. at St. Martinï¿(TM)s Church, Port Leyden, where Rev. Msgr. Paul E. Whitmore, Pastor will officiate. A spring interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery of Lyons Falls. Calling hours are Sunday 5-8 P.M. and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of oneï¿(TM)s choice.
