Constableville -- Our well loved, generous, caring wife, mom, Grandmom, sister, aunt, cousin and friend Dolores (Dee) Dury, 78, passed on July 4, 2021. A fitting date for patriotic Dee. She was born Dolores Marie Rzepka on December 27,1942 to parents, Joe and Julie Rzepka and little brother Buddy/Joe Rzepka Jr. joined 4 years later. She grew up in New York Mills, NY, attending St. Mary's Catholic school, some college and then met and fell in love with her husband of over 55 years, John W Dury. They married on January 15,1966, in their favorite season of Winter. Welcoming their 3 children Jeff, Ginny and Renee. She was a legal secretary for Attorney Michael E Tyler for 35 years, a job she enjoyed. What fun times they all had traveling on their dune buggy, snowmobiles, entertaining, shopping and then the family expanded with sons-in-law: Troy Rogers and Nick Hatheway, 6 amazing grandchildren, Jeffrey & Kylee Dury, Halle & Grace Rogers, Jack and Lia Hatheway and 1 great grandson Danny and just recently great granddaughter Lillie. She truly loved her family and often said how blessed she was. She was known to cook, bake and loved her ice cream. This past winter, John and Dee would still snowmobile daily and she would swim for hours in her pool in the summer. A truly thoughtful and generous woman who remembers every birthday and anniversary, greeting strangers with hi Sunshine. "But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand. That an angel came and called my name, And took me by the hand, And said my place was ready, In heaven far above, And that I'd have to leave behind All those I dearly love." To my hon, brother, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends I'm riding my snowmobile in the Fresh powder with a smile on my face and a heart full of love for you. In lieu of flowers, be kind and I wish you a nice day. Dee's Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 9, at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church, Constableville with Rev. Lawrence Marullo officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Constableville. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are in care of the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville.
