Alder Creek- David J. Randazzo, 62, husband of Diane, passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at St Luke's Memorial Hospital, New Hartford. David was born in Little Falls, on April 10, 1959, where he grew up and graduated from Little Falls High School. While in high school he enjoyed playing on the Football team. For many years he helped at his father's bakery, Dandy Donuts of Little Falls. After high school he went to Wyoming to work on Oil Rigs, before returning to New York where he owned D.J.'s Bar and moved to the Alder Creek area. For 36 years he was employed as a sheet metal fabricator in the construction of toll booths and other metal structures for Austin Mohawk of Utica. On July 24, 2004, David was united in marriage with Diane Hitzeroth, in Alder Creek. This was the continuation of a loving relationship which began in 1982. David was a talented wood worker, carpenter and craft maker, who enjoyed working in his woodshop; he also found much enjoyment in hunting and trapping. In addition to his wife, Diane, David is survived by his children, Jason (Maegan), Remsen, NY, Christy (Josh) Jacobsen, Dodgeville, WI; grandchildren, Joshua, Christian, Lucas, Colton, Weston and Aubrie; brothers and sisters, Donald Randazzo (Joanne Mosher), Joseph Randazzo (Heather), Kathy Perkins, (Skip), Misty Bowen (Patrick), Yvonne Perry (Robert) and LaCinda (David) Wright. He was predeceased by his parents; his biological father, David Daley, mother, Mildred (Gillen) Randazzo and adopted father, Joseph Randazzo and one sister, Theresa Austin. Also surviving is a brother in law, David Austin. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of David's life on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at the family residence on State Dam Road, Alder Creek. His arrangements are in care of Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville.
