-Daniel W. Kornatowski, 86, a long time resident of Crofoot Hill Road, husband of Wilhelmina, passed away at his home on Rickmyer Road in the Town of Floyd on Wednesday May 10, 2006. Daniel was born on May 10, 1920, on the Kornatowski homestead farm on Crofoot Hill Road near Constableville, a son of John and Tillie Filipowski Kornatowski. He attended Crofoot Hill Rural School. On September 10, 1949, he was united in marriage with Wilhelmina Korman at St. Maryï¿(TM)s Church of Constableville. After their marriage the couple settled on the Kornatowski farm, later purchasing the farm, which they operated for many years, retiring in 1989. In August, 2003, their daughter Christine and husband, Ronald Kotary purchased the family farm and the couple moved to their present home in the Town of Floyd. He was a member of St. Maryï¿(TM)s Church, Constableville, and he enjoyed wood working. In addition to his wife, Daniel is survived by five daughters, and four sons in law; Teresa A. Oatman, Rome, Anne M. Northam and Jim, Rome, Katherine E. Eldred and James, Baldwinsville, Carol Buczek and Richard, Rome, Christine M. Kotary, and Ronald, Constableville, six grandchildren; Michael, Nicholas, Danielle, Richard, Kaitlyn, Daniel, one great grandson; Connor, a sister in law; Estella Kornatowski, West Leyden, and by nieces and nephews. Daniel was predeceased by four brothers; Benjamin, Edward, John, Anthony, two sisters; Wanda Carter, Sophie Matuszczak, and by his son in law; Robert. His Funeral will be Friday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Maryï¿(TM)s Church, Constableville, where Rev. Lawrence Marullo, Pastor, will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Patrickï¿(TM)s Cemetery, Constableville. Calling hours are Thursday (TODAY) 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
