Dana J. Rudd, 45, of State Rt. 12 D, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at St. Lukeï¿(TM)s Memorial Hospital, New Hartford, after a long illness. He was born in Constableville, a son of John L. and Clara Thayer Rudd. He was a lifelong resident of Talcottville, attending Adirondack Central School in Boonville. For 15 years he was employed as a forklift operator for Bakerï¿(TM)s Greenhouses of Utica, and later as a machinist at Beal Brothers Lumber of Boonville. Dana greatly enjoyed fishing. In addition to his mother and step-father, Clara and Otis Munn, Jr. of Talcottville, he is survived by two sisters and brother-in-laws: Donna M. and Deryl LaLone, Westernville, and Mona R. and Enrique Mota, Dominican Republic; four brothers and sister-in-laws: Ken A. and Debbie Rudd, Boonville, David J. and Irene Rudd, Boonville, Keith M. and Sarah Rudd, Perland, TX, and Randy S. and Diane Rudd, Constableville; two aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by two step-sisters and their husbands: Gloria and David Kessler, Germany, and Melanie and Finate Mapuoletuli, stationed in Missouri; and two step-brothers and their wives: Timothy and Bertha Munn, Boonville, and James and Carol Munn, Talcottville. He was predeceased by his father, John on October 21, 1971, and by a half brother, Dale Egnew. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday, June 16, at Talcottville Cemetery, Route 12D, with Fr. Donald H. Karlen officiating. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Port Leyden Fire Co. Ambulance Fund. Arrangements are in the care of the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., Boonville.
