Constableville- Charles R. Sullivan, 53, of Fish Creek Road, husband of Starr, passed away suddenly. at Lewis County General Hospital, Lowville, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Charles was born in Lowville, on August 26, 1968, a son of Percy and Irma Mary McIntyre Sullivan. He grew up in Port Leyden, where he attended Port Leyden Elementary School, later graduating from South Lewis Senior High School, Class of 1987. Thereafter Mr. Sullivan was employed as a carpenter for Mosher Construction Co. Port Leyden, before 15 years of employment as a furniture assembler at Ethan Allen Furniture Co. Boonville. After the Boonville plant of Ethan Allen closed, Charles was employed as a bridge painter across a wide area of New York state. On June 30, 1998, Charles was united in marriage with Starr R. Mazur, in Port Leyden. After their marriage the couple settled at their residence on Fish Creek Road, near Constableville. Charles was a member of the Catholic faith and the Highmarket Fish and Game Club. He greatly enjoyed the out of doors; hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time with his family at their camp in Highmarket. In his younger years he was very accomplished at roller skating. In addition to his wife, Starr, Charles is survived by one son, Kad R. Sullivan; one daughter Brooklyn J. Sullivan, both of Constableville and his six siblings; Rebecca Sullivan, Lyons Falls, Steven (Dawn) Sullivan, Remsen, Margaret (Sullivan) Krokowski, Port Leyden, Tracy (John) Hastwell, III, Boonville, Jeffrey (Sheila) Sullivan, Port Leyden, Janet (Matthew) Evans Brantingham and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Irma, on January 15, 2022; his father, Percy, on December 21, 2013; a sister, Jeanie M. Zeigler, on January 17, 2022; and by two brothers in law, Mark R. Krokowski and Cory (Cork) Zeigler. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 1:00 P.M. on at the Constableville Fire Company, Constableville, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Constableville Fire Company, P.O. Box 438, Constableville, NY 13325. His arrangements are entrusted to Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville. Contributions of food may be taken to Constableville Fire Hall on Saturday, February 5, from 10:00 A.M. on.
