Boonville - Mrs. Carol M. (Andrews) Leffingwell, 67, of Fenton Terrace, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, where she had been a patient since July 9, 2009. A native of Boonville, she was born on December 20, 1941 to Frederick and Marion Gantner Andrews. Carol graduated from Boonville Central School with the Class of 1959. On December 26, 1959, she was united in marriage with David J. Leffingwell at St. Josephï¿(TM)s Church in Boonville. In the early 1960ï¿(TM)s the couple lived on Karlen Terrace; they later moved to Post Street before moving to their present home. Carol and Dave owned and operated the Sears Catalog Agency in Boonville for several years. Carol was a member of St. Josephï¿(TM)s Church, Boonville, and a very proud member of Harland J. Hennessey Post VFW and Charles J. Love Post American Legion, both of Boonville. In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her mother, Marion Andrews of Boonville; two daughters, Toni Farr and her husband, Mike, of Lyons Falls, and Sheri Lee and her companion, Tim Johnson, of Constableville; a son, David Joseph Leffingwell II of Boonville; seven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Andrews and his wife, Jerusha, and John Andrews and his companion, Jean, all of Boonville; and several nieces and nephews She was predeceased by her father, Frederick, on October 2, 1991. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephï¿(TM)s Church, Boonville, where the Reverend Sean Patrick Oï¿(TM)Brien, pastor will officiate. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Josephï¿(TM)s Cemetery, Boonville. There are no calling hours. Her family would appreciate memorial contributions in the form of Mass cards for Masses to be celebrated in her memory.
