Morehead City, N.C.- Carol L. Stinebrickner, 60, formerly of West Leyden, passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2015. Carol was born on July 9, 1954, a daughter of the late LeRoy and Marion (Smith) Stinebrickner. She grew up in West Leyden, where she was educated, graduating from Adirondack Central School with the Class of 1972. For a time she was employed for Adirondack Central School, as a janitor at West Leyden Elementary. She also worked at the Stonehedge Nursing Home, Rome, as a Certified Nurses Aide. Carol then moved south, living in Ethridge, Tennessee, and later Morehead, North Carolina. Carol is survived by her two brothers, Gerald (Anne) Stinebrickner, Utica, James Stinebrickner, Lawrenceburg, TN, sister-in-law, Linda Stinebrickner of Ethridge, TN, nine nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, three special Aunts: Rosalyn Van Arsdale, Rome, Bernice Harrington, Syracuse, and Mary Stinebrickner, Beaumont, TX, a special cousin, Stephanie Hoffert, West Leyden, and three special friends, Joy, Joyce and Francine. Also surviving is her canine companion Mr. Santa. She was predeceased by three brothers, Patrick, Robert and John. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held this spring at St. Mary's Nativity Church, West Leyden, followed by interment in St. Michael's Cemetery, Mohawk Hill, at a date and time to be announced by the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St., Boonville.
