Boonville-Miss Candace Cone, 92, formerly of Sunset Drive, passed away on Saturday March 25, 2006, at Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Boonville, where she had been a resident since August, 1996. Candace was born on the Cone homestead on the Cone Road in the Town of Leyden, on November 27, 1913, a daughter of Urban and Edna Nelson Cone. A life long resident of Boonville, she graduated from Boonville High School with the Class of 1932. For fifty years she was employed as a company secretary, and printer for the Carl Craft Co. of Boonville, retiring in 1978. An active member of the 1st Baptist Church of Boonville, Miss Cone had served as the church financial secretary, treasurer and as a deaconess of the church. She was a member and a Past Noble Grand of Oriental Rebecca Lodge # 475, Boonville. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Anna Belle Berger, Boonville, and by cousins. Her Funeral Service will be on Monday at 4 P.M. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Interment will be in Boonville Cemetery, later this spring. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 2-4 P.M.
