Bruce H. Crofoot, 55, formerly of Constableville, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007, at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, OK, from complications of pneumonia. Bruce was born May 19, 1952 in Lowville, a son of Gerald and Mary Baxter Crofoot. He grew up in Constableville and graduated from South Lewis High School with the Class of 1971. Bruce was employed by Law Bros. Construction, Lyons Falls, as a painter, before enlisting in the U.S. Army, serving as an Engineer with Heavy Equipment in Hawaii. Following his Army service he moved to Tulsa, OK where he was an Upholsterer and for the past eleven years he worked for Mark Thomas Upholstery Shop. He greatly enjoyed cooking and camping. Bruce is survived by one sister: Mrs. Gordon (Rae) Fahey of Port Leyden; four brothers: Michael K. Crofoot and wife Laurie of Rome, Gerald (Ian) Crofoot of Turin, Peter J. Crofoot and wife Kathy of Boonville, and Gerry M. Crofoot of Boonville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at a date and time to be announced at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., 143 Schuyler St., Boonville. Interment with military honors will be in the spring in Constableville Rural Cemetery.
