White Lake- Brian J. Albert, 60, passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital on Saturday July 15, 2023. Brian was born in Albany, New York on January 10, 1963 to Donna (Lawrence) Albert and Ralph Albert. He moved to Schenectady in 1973 and attended Mt Pleasant High School where he graduated in 1981. Brian played for the semi-pro football team, Metro Maller’s from the 80’s into the early 90’s and he was recently inducted into the Maller’s Hall of Fame.
Brian was a caring, giving, compassionate person who was a loving father, grand-father and friends to many. He is best remembered as the co-owner and manager of the White Lake Inn in Woodgate, NY.
Brian was predeceased by his father Ralph Albert and his loving son Craig Albert.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Lawrence; his children, Joseph, Kevin (Riley Podkowka), Alex and Adrianna. Also surviving are grandchildren; Kylie, Logan, Lyla, Anthony, Gabriella, Natalia and Mason, who will all miss him dearly; his siblings, Sandra, Keith and Allison, his special aunt, Debbie and several nieces and nephews. Brian is also survived by his longtime significant other, Judy Dustin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 10:00 A.M., at St. Joseph’s Church, Boonville, with interment to follow in Woodgate Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woodgate Volunteer Fire Company, 12445 State Rt. 28, Woodgate, NY 13494.
