Bonnie Marie Armendola

September 4, 1953 — March 20, 2007

Bonnie Marie Armendola, of Old Forge and Boonville, passed away on March 20, 2007 with her loving family by her side. Bonnie was born September 4, 1953 in Boonville to the late Mary and John Krambuhl. She was educated and graduated from Boonville Central School in 1971. She married Emil Armendola in Boonville and soon after that moved to make their home in Old Forge. Bonnie was a long distance telephone operator in Boonville for many years before venturing into her own cleaning and caretaking business where she had her kids by her side. She also took on many jobs in the tourism industry. Bonnie worked very hard to see that her family was always taken care of. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law: Rick and Holly Armendola of McKeever, and Nick Armendola of Old Forge; one daughter: Stacey Armendola of Old Forge; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Diana and Mike Green, and Susan Swancott; one brother and his special friend: John Walter Krambuhl II and Susan Mahaffy, all of Boonville; many nieces and nephews; two great-nephews: Afton and Tyler; and one great-niece: Emma. She is also survived by her beloved dogs: Stasha and Booker, her two constant companions, with whom she shared her love of the outdoors and kayaking. Bonnie was very proud of all of her children and their accomplishments. Sons Rick and Nick own and operate ARS Construction and Stacey is a graduate of Herkimer County Community College with a dual degree in Business and Human Resource Management. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service for Bonnie at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 24, 2007, at the Boonville United Methodist Church, Main Street, Boonville, with Rev. William A. Mudge, Pastor, officiating. Calling hours will precede the service beginning at 11:00 am at the church. The family will have luncheon following the Memorial Service at 3:00 pm at the Trailï¿(TM)s End Restaurant in Old Forge. Memorial contributions may be made to the Old Forge Fire Co., Old Forge, NY 13420. Arrangements are in the care of the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., Boonville.
