Audrey E. Breen

November 10, 1926 — July 18, 2006

Audrey E. Breen, 79, of 115 South St., a former resident of Erwin St., and the widow of Leslie J. Breen, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at St. Elizabethï¿(TM)s Medical Center, Utica, after a brief illness. Audrey was born in Lyons Falls, NY, (Frog Hollow,) on November 10, 1926, a daughter of Harry D. and Grace Gardner Post. She grew up in Lyons Falls, and on January 18, 1946, Audrey was united in marriage with Leslie J. Breen, at St. Josephï¿(TM)s Church, Boonville. Mr. Breen, a veteran of WWII, and a gas station owner, and operator, passed away on September 29, 1990. Mrs. Breen was a member of St. Josephï¿(TM)s Church, Boonville. Audrey greatly loved her late husband, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her six children; Pat Maum, and husband, Ed, Chittenango, Jim Breen, Croghan, Terrence Breen, and wife, Paula, Yorkville, Jerry Breen, and wife, Christie, Carlsbad, NM., Jackie Lastowski, and husband, Tom, Jack Breen and wife, Brenda, both of Boonville. Audrey was a wonderful grandmother and is survived by eighteen grandchildren; Ken, Darren, and Jay Maum, Mollie Breen, Dustin and Colleen Breen, Justin, Jenny, Jessica, Julianne Breen, Chet, Matt, Ben and Katie Lastowski, Michael and Desiree Breen, and eleven precious great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters; Marlene Doser, Boonville, Eve Breen, Norwood, two brothers; Irving Post, Edgewater, Fla., and Bud Post, Norwich. She was predeceased by one sister; Bernice Rumble, and by brothers; George Post, Harry Post, and Donald Post. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral will be Friday at 9:00 A.M. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., 143 Schuyler St. and at 10:00 A.M. at St. Josephï¿(TM)s Church, both in Boonville, where Rev. Fr. Donald H. Karlen, pastor will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Josephï¿(TM)s Cemetery, Boonville. Calling hours are Thursday 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
