Palmyra- Ann (Felshaw) Zehr, 78, of Route 31, a native and former resident of Constableville, and the widow of Wilson Zehr, passed away on October 13, 2008, at the Clifton Springs Hospital, Clifton Springs, NY, in Ontario County. She grew up on High St., in Constableville, and graduated from Constableville High School, with the Class of 1948. Thereafter she attended Crane School of Music at State University of Potsdam. For many years, Mrs. Zehr was employed in the accounting and tax department of Garlock Mfg. Co., Inc., of Palmyra, where she served as their tax coordinator for 25 years, retiring in 1991. Ann was united in marriage with Wilson Zehr on July 22, 1953, in New Bremen, at the home of the groom. Mr. Zehr died on June 23, 1986. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt; she is survived by three daughters; Melanie Cook, Williamson, NY., Janelle Plumb, Macedon, NY., Darlene Baker, Clifton Springs, NY., two sons; Gary Zehr, Canandaigua, NY., John L. Zehr, Hornell, NY., fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Ann was predeceased by brothers: John (Jack) Felshaw, Alan Felshaw, and Robert "Barney" Felshaw. A prayer service will be on Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Constableville, where The Reverend Lawrence Marullo, pastor, will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Rural Cemetery, Constableville. Calling hours are Thursday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
