Boonville- Andrea Lynn Lomber- Morrison, 54, wife of Alexander, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Rome Memorial Hospital, following a courageous battle with liver cancer. Andrea was born on March 11, 1962 at Lenox Memorial Hospital, Canastota. She was a graduate of Adirondack Central School with the class of 1981. She then furthered her education graduating with her Associates degree in culinary arts from Mohawk Valley Community College. Andrea was employed by many local area restaurants. She was last employed as a cook with the Eastern Star Home, Oriskany, until she retired due to illness. In 2009, Andrea was united in marriage with Alexander Morrison in Westernville. Besides her husband Alexander, Andrea is survived by her daughter Amanda (Randy) Broadbent, Ava, grandchildren: Randall, Cameron and Patrick, all of Ava, her parents Alexander and Patricia Stevens Lobmer Stempien, her sister Suzanne (Michael) Moran, Cicero, her brother Eric (Amy) Stempien, Lee Center, nephew Connor Moran, Cicero, and niece Raelyn Stempien, Boonville. She is also survived by several step-siblings, her aunt, Joyce Spoon, Rome, longtime friend Vanessa Yousey Schultz, Boonville, as well as Lisa (John) Pearson, and her canine companion Duke. She was predeceased by her father, Jerome Lomber, I, and her brother Jerome Lomber, II. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Andrea's family extends heartfelt gratitude to the AmCare Ambulance Team, her former coworkers at the Eastern Star Home, Staff of the Rome Hospital ICU, Dr. Cesana, Dr. Dimarco and Staff at Ridge Mills Medical Center, Dr. Benjamin and Staff on Oneida Oncology, And especially to her daughter Amanda for the exceptional care given to her mother during the two weeks she was in the ICU.
