Boonville - Allan R Brach, 69, passed away at St Elizabeth's Hospital on January 25th after a brief illness. He was born on June 24, 1949 to Fred and Ardell Longway Brach. He was raised on the family farm on Golden Road where he had many great stories of his childhood years. Allan attended Boonville Central School where he graduated with the class of 1967. As a young adult, he developed a love of fast cars and enjoyed sharing his interest with the Harland Hennessey, Bruce Sampson, Mike Devoe, Tom and Mark Pierce and many others in the Boonville area. In 1969, Allan married Linda Moore and created a family on First Street. He worked in the auto parts business, at Ethan Allen and Retired from Rome Strip Steel. In his retirement years, he really enjoyed going on road trips with his cousin Shawn Gillette where they would share their love of gun shops and discussions of historical facts. Allan was predeceased by his father, mother and brother Gary. He is survived by his sisters Barb Brach (Pat List), Kelly Brach (Scott Denslow), Kim Wagner (Scott) and Michaelle Wielechowski (David) his brother Jim Brach (Mary), his daughter Heather Hughes (Dan), his sons Bruce Brach (Shannon) and David Brach, his dog Bella and his beloved grandchildren, Logan, Camryn, Haydin, Will and Alex Hughes and Jake and Luke Brach. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 4:00 pm at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, followed by calling hours until 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St Jude's Children Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
