Gloversville- Alan C. Corrice, 45, of Gloversville, a former resident of Port Leyden, passed away at his residence on Friday, June 12, 2020. Alan was born in Lowville, on February 10, 1975, a son of Alfred and Janice Ashley Corrice. He grew up on North St. in Port Leyden, where he attended Port Leyden Elementary School, before completing his education at South Lewis Senior High School. He lived on the River Road, near Port Leyden for many years, before moving to Gloversville in 2014. He was employed as a fork lift operator at Walmart in Gloversville and in earlier years Alan was employed as a carpenter. On January 7, 1998, Alan married Sandy Marmon, in Port Leyden. Later the couple was divorced. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his four wheeler. Alan is survived by his ex-wife of many years, Sandy Corrice, Rome and his three children, Mariah and Kaitlyn, Rome and Tyler Corrice, Boonville; one sister, Denise Loadwick, Constableville and her three children; Kyle and Ethan, Constableville and Brett of Madison. Also surviving is his girlfriend of eight years, Bonnie and her daughter, Heather, Gloversville; his grandmother, Edna Ashley, Ogdensburg and by aunts, uncles and cousins. Alan was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Janice Corrice, Port Leyden, grandfather, Melvin Ashley, Ogdensburg and his uncles, Steven Ashley, Ogdensburg and Jerry Howard, Port Leyden. Services will be private at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, NY, however, family and friends may gather at the Port Leyden Fire Hall on Thursday, June 18, beginning at 1:00 P.M.
