Boonville- Adeline V. Stinebrickner Youngs, 88, formerly of West Road, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Boonville, while surrounded by the loving care of her family. Adeline was born in Glenfield, on December 17, 1931, a daughter of Rudolph and Bertha Crofut Yost. She grew up in and completed her education at Port Leyden Central School. Mrs. Youngs will be fondly remembered for her strong work ethic; for a time Adeline was employed with her sisters in logging and stripping bark off from logs. On November 15, 1950, Adeline was united in marriage with Arthur F. Stinebrickner; afterwards the couple purchased and operated a farm on Rt. 12, near Port Leyden, before moving to Talcottville where they resided until moving to her present home on West Road. Mr. Stinebrickner passed away on June 29, 1972. For thirty three years Mrs. Youngs was employed in the finishing department of Ethan Allen Furniture Company, Boonville, retiring in 2001. On August 19, 1984, Adeline was united in marriage with Milton B. Youngs, in Boonville. She greatly enjoyed attending auctions and garage sales. Adeline possessed a great love and affection for animals; very fortunate indeed was any stray animal who ventured to her home. She especially loved dogs, horses and cows. Adeline is survived by one son and daughter in law, Arthur and Jean Stinebrickner of Boonville; one daughter, Bertha (Timothy) Munn, Boonville. She was predeceased by a daughter Laverne Stinebrickner. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; Ingrid, Brendan and Adrian Stinebrickner, Holly Kristoff (James), Timothy Munn, (Lisa), Jared Munn (Morgan), Katelyn Bailey (Greg), Ethan Munn and his fiance, Joanne; eighteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by a step daughter, Valerie Youngs; three sisters, Mildred Moshier, Ruby Stinebrickner, Elizabeth May Yost, a half-sister, Anna Sturtevant and by a brother, Frederick Yost. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, at 3:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where calling hours will be Saturday from 12 Noon until the service. A spring interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Lyons Falls. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association of CNY 441 West Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse, NY 13204.
