Boonville- Linda M. Barrow, 67, of East Hayes Road, wife of the late Randy Barrow, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, while surrounded by her loving family, at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital, New Hartford. Linda was born in Constableville, on September 3, 1954, the daughter of Owen "Okie" and Joan Moore Yager. She grew up in Hawkinsville and attended Adirondack Central School. Linda, also known as "Sid" and "Wandie," enjoyed the simple things in life. She is also known for her cooking, as she was employed in various restaurants in the area. She was united in marriage with Dewey "Randy" Barrow, in Lyons Falls, on February 2, 1985. Afterwards the couple resided in the Port Leyden area, later settling on the East Hayes Road, Boonville. Linda greatly loved her children and grandchildren, which were her life. She is survived by her children; Sam (Christina) Fruin, Janice (Jed) Dosztan, Ember Barrow, (Kevin Shoemaker), Brandon (Leah) Barrow, Deanna Barrow (Chad Hertel), Randi Lynn Barrow, (Hannah McConnell); her grandchildren, Levi (Ashley) and Garrett Dosztan, Mitchell, Marcus and Madelyn Fruin, Brea and Sophia Barrow and Cayley Hertel; her siblings, Tom Yager (Jill Dehauski), Julie Taylor, Barbara (Dennis) Fruin, Mark Yager, Liesa (John) Eaton, Dennis (Sally) Yager and Billie Jo (Dennis) Knoblauch and her sisters in law, Joan Fruin and Susie Scouten, a brother in law, Rick Mooney and many nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her husband, Randy Barrow, on November 21, 2014, her parents, Okie and Joan Yager, her mother-in-law, Marjorie Markum, her sisters in law, Bonnie Yager and Susie Weaver; brothers in law, Bill Taylor, Ronnie Markum and Gerald Fruin and her nephews, Darrell Fruin and Tyler Fruin and her niece, Abigail Kelly. Her family would like to express a special thank you to Tess DeVoe and Victoria Hall for the special care and companionship they showed to their mother. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Linda's life, on Saturday, March 19, 2022, beginning at 2:00 P.M., at the Boonville Elks Lodge, State Rt. 12 South, Boonville. There are no calling hours. Interment will be in Port Leyden Cemetery, at the convenience of her family. Memorial contributions may be made to Boonville Fire Company Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 164, Boonville, NY 13309. Her arrangements are in care of Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville.
