Forestport- Kenneth F. Lambert, 73, a resident of the Meekerville Road, and most recently of Sunset Nursing Home, Boonville, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016, he had been ill since January, 2016.
Kenneth was born on January 2, 1943 in North Uxbridge, Massachusetts, a son of Richard W. and Elizabeth W. Blodgett Lambert. Most of his life was spent in Massachusetts where he graduated from Douglas High School. For many years Mr. Lambert was employed as a bus driver for Alternatives Unlimited, Whitinsville, MA, his last employment was at Value Pharmacy, Worcester, MA, as a driver.
One of Ken’s many passions was breeding of his beloved Cairn Terriers.
He is survived by his longtime friend, Joseph Strain; one sister, Patricia A. Masterson, Columbia, TN; and two brothers, Richard Lambert, Columbia, TN, and William (Mary) Lambert, Rutland, MA, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, at 7:00 pm at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St., Boonville. There will be a calling hour from 6:00 pm until the time of the service. A visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 21, at Jackman Funeral Home, 7 Mechanic St. East Douglas, MA, with a graveside service to follow immediately at Evergreen Cemetery, East Douglas.
